Sundanese Breakfast Gathering :)

Every sunday, my housemates and I together has gathering on breakfast. We share our food n meals and eat together outside on veranda. Because we stay in Bandung, west Java, our food is mostly dominated by sundanese food such as raw vegies, salted fish, sup, friend fishes, soybean cake (the traditional food, made from fermented soybean), tofu (same product from soybean).





Here is menu and some pictures captured during breakfast gathering.

The complete menu for Sunday Gathering ( traditional sundanese food; salted fish, sundanese chili sauce (sambal terasi/belacan), friend eggplant (terung), soybean cake (tempe), friend tofu, and sayur asem (sundanese vegies soup).

It is a beatiful Sunday, we share and chat happily. Next weekend, we will arrange the same moment and good for us to be relax during weekend.

Talking About Appreciation

Hi all,

Just wanna share what I saw, to what I feel and to what I did last week when I attended the seminar in my temporary office. One of the Government Institution in Indonesia particularly in Bandung, west Java.

I with two other my friends organize the seminar and talkshow about up date news related to the natural disaster to what happened lately in Tangerang. Note that, what I am sharing here it is not about the technical discussion but HOW do we appreciate the presentar in front of the forum.

To be honest, before the talkshow begin, the participants always sit AT THE BACK first, they dont willing to sit IN FRONT. The MC keep announching to the audience till the first presentar come in front and present his materials.

Only several people especially the students which I think they are forced by their lecturer to keep concentrate on the presentation as part of their assessment :).

Secondly, is when the presentation is going, many of the audience they keep busy talking discussing with his friends beside him. Seems like they dont follow to what the presenter discussing in front. Thus, it was disgusting as I am the one who sit beside them..

Surprisingly, the VIP person who sit very In Front ( I said this because they are Very Important Person, as the head committe of organization). They keep busy with "their blackberry" weeeks...

To what I saw I can conclude that :
First, we are less antusiastic to attend the event like seminar or whatever which If I can take the benefit from this event. We gain more knowledge by attending this momoent and listening their sharing to what happened technically in Situ Gintung Dam Demolished, Tangerang, Banten.

Second, the less appreciation from us to listen and just "be silent" while the presenter talking in front of the audience.

Lastly, to what the main committe do with "state-of-the-art Blackberry" is seems they just though that this seminar is like only "promotion event" nothing more than that.

Why?? it because during the seminar going, only the presenter, panelist, notulent and some of anthusiastic participants who keep concentrate to what presenter discussing. The committe just busy with their new sophicticated gadget.

Lol, I might guaranty that they might open "facebook" hehe..upps..sorry, Obejctively, I try to write not based on the fact..lol..

Well, I write those things above not for unproductive purposes. Those happended not only to them, it probably happended to us when we might not realize that we did it. Let's we learn from those situation. We can do some " morality contract" by do as follow :

1. Please, try to appreciate people as much as we can
2. Be silent when you are in the seminar and not talking to friends beside you. If so, just whispering and please dont do it more often. Imagine, if you are inside cinema. someone beside you keep talking and Indeed, you fell insult to this situation and therefore, cant enjoy your movie !! Thing about that ..!!
3. If you are not interested with the topic, please get out from the room and you are free to chat with your friends outside.
4. The main committee should give the good manner and attitude. So that, we can absorb the good value of them..heuheu..poor our leader..:(
5. Last but not least...keep trying to change our BAD HABIT. At the first time I know it would be difficult BUT by doing this we have finished 50% from our target !! so...Be Spirit all the time !!!

Well, Hope my sharing would be our advantage to whom want make our life BETTER !!!
